To celebrate ATCO providing British lawns with the ‘finest cut of all’ for over a century, ATCO has designed a brand-new range of Front Cut Mowers, aptly named Centurion.

The ATCO Centurion 4-wheel drive Front cut Mower is powered by STIGA with an impressive ST 600 586cc Twin cylinder fully lubricated engine. It features a double chamber carburettor to improve starting performance, and ensures smoother running of both cylinders through better balanced fuel delivery.

Hot and cold starting is no problem for the STIGA ST series of engines. Bench tested for 500 hours usage with no loss of performance –even those gardeners with larger lawns can be confident that this engine will provide of years of service with minimal maintenance.

The specific design of the chassis with its unmatched 50:50 articulation allows the operator to move around obstacles and along walls and fences without the need to look back -as the rear of the machine always follows the path of the front section. The hydraulic power steering and all-wheel drive hydrostatic transmission offer precision speed control and superior manoeuvrability even on inclines, allowing you to glide around your lawn with ease.

The Centurion 4WD is recommended for use with the ATCO Easy Clean 39” triple bladed front mounted cutting deck, that is available to purchase separately. This can be easily lifted with a few simple movements to allow for cleaning of the underside and for access to the blades. The fully floating deck is fitted with two pivoting anti-scalp wheels at the front, along with a tubular bar to give higher resistance against accidental impacts. The front mounted deck ensures superior visibility when working, giving improved accessibility to corners and a more precise cut along edges.
The deck is made of 2.5mm thick pressed steel and the blades are driven by Kevlar reinforced belts for extra durability and can be easily converted from mulching to rear discharge mode for those overgrown areas or thicker growth.

Features include an electromagnetic blade engagement which is located on the ergonomic side dashboard, along with the electric height of cut adjustment, hour meter and a handy storage compartment for your wallet or mobile phone. A higher back seat offers greater comfort to those gardeners with larger areas to cut and the LED front lights allow you to use the Centurion 4WD all year round.
